No long-term commitment. These sessions are structured, coached, and focused on helping players improve with each visit. Just pick the day, sign up, and train with purpose.
Smaller groups allow our trainers to stay locked in on each player. Everyone gets more reps, more feedback, and more chances to grow. These sessions move fast and stay focused from start to finish.
Players work on improving how they score — from mechanics to mindset. These sessions are about building confidence and consistency through structured teaching and steady reps.
These sessions focus on control, movement, and decision making. Players develop better instincts and feel more comfortable navigating the floor in live play.
Mondays
Open to players of all abilities, including those with disabilities. Focuses on fundamentals, confidence, and fun in a supportive space.
Fast-paced, high-level session for AAU players or those close to it. Game-speed reps, situational work, and skill refinement
Tuesdays
Same format as Monday—1 hour of high-intensity training for advanced players who want to compete at the next level.
Trainer – Shovel Town Basketball Club
Kayla joins Shovel Town with a decorated college basketball career and a passion for helping players grow their game the right way. A four-year starter at the NCAA Division II level, Kayla helped lead her team to an NE-10 Championship and two NCAA Tournament appearances.
She was named NE-10 Rookie of the Year, earned two First Team All-Conference selections, and was recognized as a WBCA Division II Honorable Mention All-American. With 1,188 career points and a 17-point per game average, Kayla knows what it takes to compete—and succeed—at a high level.
Now, she brings that experience to the gym, helping players sharpen their skills, build confidence, and develop the mindset needed to compete.
Trainer – Shovel Town Basketball Club
Nick brings a strong background in player development, with 8 years of AAU coaching experience across respected programs like Boston Spartans, Boston Bobcats, CBA Heat, MetroWest Swarm, Butler Heat Elite, and Dana Barros.
He played at Stoughton High and went on to compete at the collegiate level with Massasoit and Bridgewater State. Nick also serves as a varsity assistant coach for the Brockton High School girls’ program.
Over the years, he’s trained top talent including AJ Dybantsa, Tai Odiase, Kara Milliken, Isaac Lane, Lateef Patrick Jr., and Jerome Robinson. His sessions are competitive, focused, and built to push players to the next level.
Danielle played four years of varsity basketball at Division II Southern New Hampshire University and competed at the AAU level with the New England Crusaders EYBL team. She brings experience coaching elementary-age AAU teams and running both group and individual training sessions—specializing in post player development.
Off the court, Danielle is a full-time pediatric speech-language pathologist with a passion for working with the neurodiverse community. Her background in both athletics and child development makes her a dynamic presence in the gym and a strong role model for players of all ages.
