Grades 5, 6 & 8

Shovel Town Premier is our top-tier team — built for the best of the best talent this summer.
We’re looking for serious players ready to compete, grow, and represent Shovel Town at the highest level.

TRYOUT DETAILS

Tryout Times by Current Grade:
Grade 5 – 6:30 PM
Grade 6 – 7:30 PM
Grade 8 – 8:30 PM

  • Most tournaments are local to the MetroWest area, with some in Greater Boston and occasionally one in Maine.
  • Fall: 1 practice per week (1.5 hours)
  • Spring: 2 practices per week (each 1.5 hours)
  • Summer: 1 practice per week (1.5 hours)

The majority of events are local to MetroWest, with a few in Southern New England. One tournament per year may require travel (typically to Maine).



Our teams are led by professional, experienced coaches focused on real skill development—not just game-day management.

Players are expected to attend all practices and tournaments. We understand conflicts happen, but consistency is key for growth and team chemistry.

Tryouts are required for placement. After evaluation, families are notified if their player is offered a roster spot and for which season(s).
