AAU Basketball Programs

We practice with purpose. Our AAU program is built for players who show up, compete, and put in the work. Through high-level competition, strong coaching, and player development, Shovel Town gives players the opportunity to continue building their game throughout the year.

Our AAU Programs

Fall AAU

Kick off the school year with Fall AAU. This season includes weekly practices and four tournaments, giving players the opportunity to stay active, compete, and continue building their game heading into the winter season.

Spring AAU

Spring AAU is our biggest and most competitive season. Players participate in weekly practices and compete in multiple tournaments, giving them consistent opportunities to compete, develop, and continue building their game throughout the season.

Summer AAU

Our Summer AAU program keeps players both inside and outside the program in the gym when most programs have shut down for the offseason. With practices and tournaments throughout the summer, players have the opportunity to stay active, compete, and continue building their game.

New to AAU?

If you’re new to AAU, here’s what to expect. AAU basketball is competitive club basketball outside of school and town leagues, focused on player development, teamwork, and competing against strong competition.

1

Teams are formed through an open tryout process based on grade and skill level.

2

Practices are structured with a focus on skill development, team concepts, and continuing to build each player’s game.

3

Tournaments give players the opportunity to compete at a high level while continuing to develop through game experience.

4

Flexibility is built in. Players can join for a single season or participate throughout the year based on their schedule and goals.

5

We take pride in strong communication so players and families always know schedules, expectations, and what’s ahead.

If you have questions about getting started or which season is right for your player, reach out. We’re here to help you find the best fit.
